Getting to Stocker’s Lake
By Bus
Bus routes 520, R1, R2 and 320 Sapphire all travel along Uxbridge Road, Rickmansworth and can drop you within a 5 minute walk of the reserve. Leave the bus at the Moneyhill Church Lane stop and look for a footpath opposite Fairway Tyre & Auto Services. This will lead you to the NE corner of the reserve.
By Train
The nearest station is Rickmansworth (Metropolitan Line and Chiltern Railways). To walk from the station to the lake takes about 15-20 minutes. Two routes are of similar distance. One option is to walk along Uxbridge Road and then take the footpath opposite Fairway Tyre & Auto Services. The other, more scenic route goes via a footpath from Ebury Play Area (on Riverside Drive) to the Aquadrome. Once in the Aquadrome keep bearing west.
By Car
Ample parking is available at the Aquadrome Car Park (WD3 1NB). Limited parking can also be found at various points along or just off Springwell Lane.
