British weather eh! Having felt forced to call off the work party at very short notice due to torrential rain that morning I went to the meeting point anyway to inform anyone who had missed the postponement email. But low and behold it then stopped raining and brightened up. Five volunteers had arrived, fully armed with loppers etc., and they were keen to stay. So we managed to work, albeit a bit soggily, on Tern and Kingfisher hides, clearing overhanging branches and widening the view for the bird enthusiasts.
