Another good session this month, we had a team of four carrying out repair work on the cattle field 1 fencing, which has now largely been completed in all three fields.
The sedge grass in that same field has become dominant, and while we don't want to remove it entirely, we do want to restrict it and so ensure that a more biodiverse area can flourish. It turned out to be a tough session, so my thanks to those volunteers that worked on that task and in particular to Josh Calms from H&MW Trust who assisted us.
Our younger volunteers worked hard on preserving some gate infrastructure and removing some undesirable graffiti.
Many thanks to Ken Davies, Tony & Sheila Lee, Evelyn Fox, Philip & Julia Davies, Peter Ewer, Nigel Daley, Hattie & Mimi, Josh Calms and Russell Ball.
