If you see any damage or danger to the natural environment including fish, birds or mammals in distress, poaching or Illegal dumping of hazardous waste please ring the Environment Agency emergency hotline - 0800 80 70 60 - free of charge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Note that this number is for emergencies only, not for general enquiries.
Another useful contact is Swan Support, a charity. This a wildlife rescue organisation which is focused on swans but will rescue any water birds. They respond 24/7, cover our area, and are equipped to rescue from water. They can be contacted on 07968 868172 or 01628 876336 or by emailing info@swansupport.org.uk.
