Great News. FoSL (through The Colne Valley Landscape Partnership) has just secured funding of approximately £13000 from the National Lottery Funding to part pay for fencing on the cattle meadows between Stocker's and The River Colne.

This will allow us to return this land to its original use, allowing delicate fauna and flora the opportunity to grow and develop in our wonderful nature reserve.

Many thanks to Ian Watson who has been the key player for FoSL, working tirelessly with all stakeholders and interested parties throughout this project. Thanks also to Ewa Prokop, Programme Manager from Groundwork South who has advised us throughout this long process.
Hopefully this project will come to fruition this Autumn/Winter. Watch this space !
