Our wildlife camera project is taking shape. A camera has now been successfully installed offshore and the first pictures have been generated. Work on the onshore component of the installation is now underway and soon we hope to be able to advise how you might view the live pictures. Watch this space!

This development comes as part of a project being run by our Treasurer and Membership Secretary, Dick Beeden. We first announced it at our 2017 AGM last April. For further information please see this earlier news article.

A sample picture is reproduced on the left. Clearly the herons are not yet occupying the nest. However they are showing the first signs of nesting and so hopefully birds will take up residence on these nests in the next few weeks. So watch this space for further updates and more pictures.
