1. All members are entitled to volunteer for any activity or office associated with FoSL unless the committee have reasonable grounds to believe that they are not of sound mind or body that would add an unacceptable risk to the relevant event.
2. Should the Committee have reasonable grounds to believe that a volunteer (be they a member of FoSL or not) has acted or is likely to act in a manner that would bring the reputation of FoSL into disrepute their participation in the event will be prohibited and in the case of a FoSL member their membership may, at the Committee's discretion. be revoked.
3. Volunteers will be briefed by the event leader on the risks to them, to other volunteers and the public arising out of the planned event and reminded that it is their responsibility to act accordingly in the interests of their own safety and that of others.
